The Nico Security Espagnolette is a quick fit, high performance espag which is ideal for both flush fit and a wider range of window styles. With a proven double cam design locking into a profile specific steel striker it has met the requirements of PAS024 as a critical component, and has Secured By Design Police Preferred Specification approval. It offers a night vent facility where often one has not been available before, and is exceptionally strong and easy to install.
The tried and tested locking mechanism required a new Nico approach to keep design to meet the hardware challenges of flush fitting windows. With a development time of 2 months from initial concept to finished product, the Security Espag keep range again emphasizes the benefits Nico can bring to the hardware development process. With design, engineering, tooling and initial testing all in house lead times can be dramatically shortened.
The Security Espagnolette has been endurance tested to 30,000 cycles in the Nico Test Centre, and has the exceptional Supercoat 500 silver corrosion resistant finish. Test results indicate that finished products have achieved grade 5 as defined in BS EN 1670: 2007, making them suitable for coastal or industrial environments
