4542 Grade 7 Loose Security Butt Hinge 100X90mm

The 4542 is an ideal security hinge solution for fire doors up to 40kg. Rigorously tested and fully certified, the loose pin variant offers flexibility and efficiency for modern production methods and is suitable for inward opening doors. There is also a fixed pin variant with a pin which is spun at both ends to resist attack and removal, and this is suitable for outward opening doors.

These hinges are supplied dry in order to ease handling and prevent the transfer of oily marks. Hinges should be lubricated with a light machine oil immediately after installation, and period lubrication should be conducted as required (minimum every 25,000 cycles).
