4542 Grade 7 Fixed Security Butt Hinge 100x90mm

The 4542 is an ideal security hinge solution for fire doors up to 40kg. Rigorously tested and fully certified, it is available in fixed pin and loose pin variants. The fixed pin variant has a pin which is spun at both ends to resist attack and removal, and is suitable for both inward and outward opening doors. The loose pin variant is suitable for inward opening doors only.

These hinges are supplied dry in order to ease handling and prevent the transfer of oily marks. Hinges should be lubricated with a light machine oil immediately after installation, and period lubrication should be conducted as required (minimum every 25,000 cycles).
